Editorial Month in Review

Wedding season, and quite a bit of product work has taken me away from the editorial work for a little bit recently, but I have managed to catch a few recent events – here were the highlights from my batch…

March 10th, 2010 – Washington, District of Columbia, USA – President BARACK OBAMA and Haitian President RENÉ PRÉVAL shake hands after speaking to the press in the Rose Garden following their meeting. President Preval thanked the United States for the hundreds of millions of dollars in aid provided since his country’s ruinous earthquake Jan.12.

Washington, D.C. – April 14th, 2010: Attorney General ERIC HOLDER testifies before a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on “Oversight of the U.S. Department of Justice”. Holder was asked tough questions regarding the situation in Guantanamo and his treatment of enemy combatants as US Citizens.
